The first two days serve to familiarise you with the theory at the introductory level. You will learn about the seven principles, seven themes and seven processes of Prince2 as well as tailoring - how do I adapt Prince2 to my project environment?
Starting with the basic principles, responsibilities, tailoring and adopting of Prince2, through project planning and preparation, phase transition management and project closure, this course covers every step of the project phases or project lifecycle.

Putting expertise into practice:
On the third day, the knowledge from the Foundation training is repeated in a gallery tour. On days four and five, we put you in a real business scenario. You will become a member of the project team and experience the process of a PRINCE2 project, starting with the project mandate. Together with other course participants, you will apply the PRINCE2 principles and PRINCE2 topics in the various project phases during this actual project work.

PRINCE2-Foundation exam details::

• You have 60 minutes.
• There are 60 multiple-choice questions to answer.
• You will pass if you achieve at least 55%, i.e. 33 out of 60 points.
• No aids are permitted.

PRINCE2 Practitioner exam details:

• You have 150 minutes to complete the exam.
• The exam is a multiple-choice test with a total of 68 questions.
• It is based on a scenario for which there is additional information in the exam for some questions.
• You will be asked questions about PRINCE2 processes, PRINCE2 topics and PRINCE2 principles.
• You will pass the exam if you achieve at least 55%, i.e. 38 out of 68 points.
• You may use the PRINCE2 handbook as an aid, which you will work with during the course.

Examination insurance

With Maxpert examination insurance, we create a secure framework for your examination attempt. (This must be booked separately) If you fail the exam at the first attempt, you can retake it once. (You can retake it as often as you like, but at a charge)

For the exam: The PRINCE2 Compact exam uses the official Peoplecert online exam procedure. This means you can take the exam at any time and around the clock. All you need is an internet connection. The voucher for the proctored exams is valid for 12 months. The PRINCE2 Compact certificate is available to you as an e-certificate in your personal account on the Peoplecert Candidate Portal ("Passport") within 48 hours of successfully passing the exam.
